اسلام آباد — پاکستان کی موجودہ سیاسی فضا میں جہاں اختلاف رائے اور سیاسی تناؤ بڑھ رہا ہے، وہاں سینیٹر عرفان صدیقی نے اپنی گفتگو میں اس بات پر زور دیا ہے کہ نفرت پر مبنی سیاست کو ختم کرنا وقت کی سب سے بڑی ضرورت ہے۔ ان کے مطابق، اختلافِ رائے جمہوری عمل کا بنیادی حصہ ہے لیکن اس کے اظہار میں شائستگی اور برداشت کو ہرگز نظر انداز نہیں کیا جانا چاہئے (Dawn, 2025)۔

اختلاف رائے، جمہوریت کا حسن

عرفان صدیقی نے عوامی نیشنل پارٹی کی جانب سے منعقدہ کل جماعتی کانفرنس (APC) سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ:

"اختلاف رائے جمہوریت کا حسن ہے، لیکن اختلاف رائے کرتے ہوئے شائستگی اور رواداری کو ہمیشہ مقدم رکھنا چاہئے۔”

انہوں نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ پاکستان ایک مشکل مگر کامیاب سفر طے کر کے آج ایک ایسے مقام پر کھڑا ہے جہاں اسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے نام سے عزت اور ایک مضبوط پناہ فراہم کی ہے (The News, 2025)۔ صدیقی کے مطابق، سال 2025 تک پاکستان نے کئی سنگ میل عبور کیے اور کئی اہم کامیابیاں حاصل کیں، لیکن ان کامیابیوں کو مزید آگے بڑھانے کے لیے سیاسی انتشار اور نفرت سے گریز ناگزیر ہے (Express Tribune, 2025)۔

نفرت نہیں، محبت آگے بڑھاتی ہے

اپنی تقریر میں انہوں نے کہا کہ معاشرتی ہم آہنگی کا راز محبت میں چھپا ہوا ہے۔

"نفرتیں مت پالیں، محبت ہمیشہ باقی رہتی ہے، محبت کی خوشبو ہمیشہ فضا میں بسی رہتی ہے، جبکہ نفرت کی کھیتی میں جڑی بوٹیاں تک نہیں اگتیں۔”

انہوں نے تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پنجاب کو گالی دینے یا صوبائیت کو ہوا دینے سے کسی کو کچھ نہیں ملے گا، کیونکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ پنجاب نے کبھی بلوچستان یا کسی دوسرے صوبے کے خلاف آواز نہیں اٹھائی (Geo News, 2025)۔

جمہوریت اور تسلسل کی اہمیت

سینیٹر عرفان صدیقی نے واضح کیا کہ جمہوریت کے تسلسل سے ہی معاشرے ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن ہوتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بار بار کے دھرنے، احتجاجی سیاست اور ایک دوسرے پر الزام تراشی ملک کو کمزور کرتی ہے اور یہ طرزِ عمل ملک کے مفاد میں نہیں ہے (ARY News, 2025)۔ ان کے مطابق، اگر پاکستان کو ترقی اور استحکام کی راہ پر گامزن کرنا ہے تو اس کے لیے رواداری، برداشت، شائستگی اور سیاسی بلوغت کو فروغ دینا ہوگا (PILDAT Report, 2024)۔

پاکستان کی حالیہ تاریخ میں یہ دیکھا گیا ہے کہ انتہا پسندی پر مبنی سیاست نہ صرف عوام کو تقسیم کرتی ہے بلکہ جمہوری اداروں کی ساکھ کو بھی متاثر کرتی ہے۔ بین الاقوامی ماہرین کے مطابق، سیاسی انتہا پسندی اور نفرت پر مبنی سیاست کسی بھی ریاست میں پالیسی سازی کو کمزور کر دیتی ہے اور معاشرتی ٹوٹ پھوٹ کو بڑھاتی ہے (Huntington, 1996; UNDP, 2023)۔ عرفان صدیقی کے مطابق پاکستان کو اسی خطرے سے بچنے کے لیے سیاسی قیادت کو تحمل، شائستگی اور رواداری اختیار کرنا ہوگی۔
